Custom Memory Quilts

Some clothes are too meaningful to fold up and forget. I turn them into a handmade quilt that keeps those people and moments close.

What Is a Memory Quilt?

Clothing That Carries Something Bigger

A memory quilt is made from garments that carry real weight -- a parent's dress shirts, a child's first clothes, a veteran's uniform, a collection of fabrics that tell the story of someone's life. The quilt becomes a permanent, usable tribute to the person or milestone those clothes represent.

I take this work seriously. Memory quilts are not rushed, and no two are approached the same way. Before anything is cut, we talk -- about the person, the garments, what you want to preserve, and how you want the finished quilt to feel.

These quilts are ordered for all kinds of reasons: honoring someone who has passed, celebrating a milestone, preserving a child's early years, or creating something lasting from clothes that have been sitting in a closet far too long.

What I Work With

If It Has Meaning, It Can Be Part of the Quilt

Almost any fabric or garment can be incorporated. Here are some of the most common.

Dress Shirts & Blouses

Workplace clothing and everyday wear that defined someone's style for years.

Uniforms

Military, first responder, work, and sports uniforms representing service and sacrifice.

Baby & Children's Clothing

First outfits, tiny onesies, and little-kid favorites that deserve to be preserved.

Sentimental Fabrics

Handkerchiefs, ties, scarves, and any fabric with personal significance.

Sports Apparel

Jerseys, warmups, and practice wear from seasons and careers worth remembering.

Milestone Clothing

Graduation gowns, wedding garments, and clothes tied to once-in-a-lifetime moments.

The Process

How It Works

A thoughtful, unhurried process from first conversation to finished quilt.

  1. We Talk First

Schedule a free consultation. We'll discuss the person or milestone, the garments you have, and what you want the finished quilt to feel like.

  2. Send the Garments

Drop off at CreateATL in Atlanta or ship directly. I handle all cutting and preparation with care. Nothing is altered without your approval.

  3. Approve the Design

I'll send a layout mockup for your approval before cutting begins. We make adjustments until the design feels right.

  4. Receive Your Quilt

Pick up in person or have it shipped anywhere in the United States with full insurance and tracking.

What Clients Are Saying

★★★★★

"Wesley is amazing. He brought to life an amazingly beautiful quilt with pieces of my mom's clothing better than we could have ever imagined. His communication was beyond great and very professional. You don't see this type of communication and customer service anymore. I will forever cherish mine."
