I've been quilting professionally for over ten years, and I started Quilts by Big Wes with one straightforward goal: make quilts that people are genuinely proud to own. Not generic. Not rushed. Quilts built around the real stories and garments of the people who commission them.

I work out of CreateATL in Southwest Atlanta, a creative maker space that lets me run a fully equipped studio without the overhead of a standalone shop. Every quilt I make is sewn here, by hand, by me. There is no outsourcing, no factory production, and no shortcuts.

My specialty is custom t-shirt quilts and memory quilts, the kinds of projects where the client brings me something irreplaceable and trusts me to make it into something lasting. I take that seriously. I've never had a client regret the finished quilt.
